Over in Kanawha County, West Virginia, a juvenile
decided to deal himself a bad hand of cards in life after he picked up a gun
and shot his mother, his two younger brothers (3 and 12 years old), and father
dead in their house that is located on Cemetery Hill Drive.
I’m sure the juvenile will say that he had his reasons for sending his mother, his two younger brothers, and his father from their home located at Cemetery Hill Drive to a cemetery sitting on a hill.
It’s just that those reasons have left the state of West Virginia with no other choice than to charge him with four counts of felony murder; which carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment, with a chance of parole during the 15th year of incarceration, for juveniles who are trial as adults.
According to the folks over at Metro News, Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford said that a family member had spent a good portion of Saturday trying to get in touch with the family.
Recognizing that his/her efforts to contact the family would be to no avail, he/she got up late Sunday morning and drove over to the family’s home. Upon arrival at the home, the family member discovered that the door was unlocked. The family member went inside the home and walked around before coming across the grisly scene of the mother’s, the two children’s, and the father’s bullet hole riddled bodies. The family member dialed 911. “We determined immediately on the deputies’ arrival they were all deceased,” is what Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford told the Metro News folks.
Rutherford also said that the sheriff deputies spotted the juvenile roaming around the streets. The sheriff deputies stopped the juvenile, questioned him, and then arrested him.
Due to the juvenile being a juvenile, the state isn’t saying why he thought he should spend his day killing up on his mama, two younger brothers, and his daddy.
Sure, these are all allegations about the juvenile committing the most heinous act that any human being can commit.
The problem for the juvenile, however, is that he’s still living while everybody else, who lived with him in the house located on Cemetery Hill Drive, will be taken to their new homes in a cemetery sitting on a hill.
